Social

The members of Zeta Tau Alpha participate in many social events in both the fall and spring semesters. Some of these include sisterhood events, monthly date parties, formals, and themed swaps. Sisterhood events occur at least twice a month and help to encourage our members to bond with one another. These events include roller skating, renting out the theatre to see the latest movie, and karaoke night. Our chapter also plans swaps during the fall semester with fraternity organizations across campus. We often have fun themes for these such as Paint Swap, Welcome to the Jungle, and Hippie. Each month, ZTA hosts a date party for our members and a date of their choice. Some themes from this year included, Bid Night, Candy land, Frost,Tacky Christmas, and Barnyard. From our first swap to our last date party, these events allow our sisters to bond with one another and also help to encourage them to meet more people throughout our campus.

To help make sure that all social functions are fun AND safe, Nu Chapter had ALL of its executive officers trained in the Red Watch Program. The program is new to Alabama and ZTA is proud to say that we are one of two sororities on campus to have taken advantage of this great opportunity our campus has to offer.
